My Asheville

This picture was taken using a drone while taking videos of a lot off of Vance Gap Road that I have listed.  You are viewing downtown facing west toward Mount Pisgah.  I wake up every morning feeling blessed to be in the midst of such beauty!

Tourists and residents alike can find something for everyone in this city of about 90,000.  We have eclectic locally owned shops downtown, restaurants with some of the best chefs around the world, art galleries and working artist studios, concerts, festivals, more breweries than you can imagine, and of course the great outdoors.  Whether you like biking, rafting, hiking, trail-running, kayaking, or tubing, we have it all.  Please see my links at the bottom of the Home Page for “Things to do,” which includes restaurants, hikes, shopping, and touring.

The Biltmore Estate is lovely at all times of the year and requires at least one day to enjoy all there is to offer.

The Grove Park Inn is a must see especially at Christmas when they do the Gingerbread House competition.  The Spa is amazing!

The upcoming River Arts District is a must see.  The old train buildings and warehouses are converting to studios.  There are also delicious restaurants and breweries scattered throughout.

Drive the Blue Ridge parkway to the many overlooks for great pictures.  The Mountains to Sea trail runs right along beside the parkway for convenient trail-running and hikes.
